To support mass deliberation with the help of artificial intelligence, we have developed the following tools as plugins, which can be integrated into a WordPress environment. These tools are used in the Greek pilot design of the project.

Summary

The summary creation plugin gathers all the comments submitted to a consultation and converts them into a short and understandable summary text.

Upon completion of the consultation, the summary is available for viewing or downloading, so that users can easily be informed about the main conclusions.

Information Extraction

The information extraction plugin uses artificial intelligence to identify the key points of each comment and present them in a short form (bullet points).

At the same time, it provides an overview of the most important positions and views expressed in the consultation.

Moderation (Content Control)

This plugin is only available to the site administrator (Admin) and moderator (Moderator).

Each new comment is automatically analyzed and characterized as:

  • Clean: the content is considered safe and suitable for publication.
  • Flagged: content needs to be controlled by the administrator or moderator.

This ensures the quality and safety of the discussion.

Gamification

The gamification plugin does not use artificial intelligence, but is designed to encourage user participation in consultations.

It includes functions such as:

  • Missions (tasks)
  • Leveling system
  • Evaluation votes (upvote/downvote)
  • Award of Badges

These functions make participation more interactive and increase the interest of citizens.
