Starting
In order to support mass deliberation using artificial intelligence, we used the following tools, which were implemented as plugins so that they can be integrated into WordPress for the Greek pilot design.
Summary
The plugin we use to create a summary collects the comments submitted to a consultation and organizes them in the form of a summary. Once the process is complete, the summary is available for download and reading by the system user.
Informaton Extraction
The information extraction plugin uses artificial intelligence to identify key locations and create bullet points from each comment. In the end, it presents an overview of the consultation.
Moderation
This plugin is accessible only by the site administrator (Admin) or moderator (Moderator). When a user submits a comment, it is sent for analysis. If the content is deemed safe, it is marked as “Clean”, otherwise it is marked as “Flagged”.
Gamification
This plugin does not use artificial intelligence. It was created with the aim of enhancing the participation of users in consultations. It offers functions such as tasks, leveling system, upvote/downvote, as well as badges.
