PART F – ENTRY INTO FORCE – Article 103

Entry into force

  1. Subject to paragraph 2, this Law shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
  2. Part A of the Code of Civil Procedure (Presidential Decree 503/1985, Government Gazette, Series I, No 182), Part B of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Law 4620/2019, Government Gazette, Series I, No 96) and Part C of the Code of the Organisation of Courts and the Status of Judges (Law 4938/2022, Government Gazette, Series I, No 109) shall enter into force on 16 September 2024, the date of entry into force of Part A of Law 5108/2024 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 65).

    With regard to § 2 of the proposed provision of temporal law and, in particular, with regard to amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure, for reasons of legal certainty, more extensive provision is required with regard to the transitional law on appeals (see in detail my comment on this subject in this consultation under Part A).
